Beautiful mahogany color nicely matched throughout the strand.

All of the oval beads are beautifully faceted - showing a glowing red/orange color.

The carved amber beads are both round and barrel shaped and have recently been restrung.

MEASUREMENTS: 55 hand carved bone, skull shaped beads over-dyed to emphasize the strong detail of eyes and mouths (mouths which are full of carved teeth!).

Each barrel shaped bead measures approximately 8mm x 14mm.

Measurements: 25 translucent orange amber beads - graduated in size from 20mm x 12mm (center bead) to 12mm x 8 mm (smallest bead). There is slight variation in color - a bit lighter or a bit darker - not immediately noticeable.

This necklace dates to the 1930's, but was recently restrung (knotted) using the original gold and diamond clasp.

Measurements: total length 20" with 14 APPLE sponge coral beads measuring approximately 1 1/4" x 7/8" diameter. Spacer beads are of jet or French Jet.

Guaranteed vintage beads, however, the beads themselves appear to be amber composite. Very beautiful golden colors -- very curious.
